1. Privacy Policy
What personal data QuickFix collects, why, and how it is handled.
1. Data we collect
Contact details for senders and receivers (name, phone number, email address), pickup and delivery addresses, shipment descriptions, photographs you upload, payment records and references, device and usage information, and — for partners, riders and drivers — identity, licence and vehicle details.
2. Why we use it
To create and price bookings, dispatch jobs to partners and riders, keep you updated by email and SMS, verify payments, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet accounting and legal obligations, and improve the service.
3. Who we share it with
Sender and receiver contact details and addresses are shared with the assigned partner agency and the assigned rider or driver strictly so the delivery can be completed. Payment data is shared with our payment provider. We share data with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
4. Receivers
Where a sender books a delivery to you, QuickFix processes your name, phone number, email address and delivery address on the sender's instruction so the shipment can reach you and so you can track it.
5. Retention
Records are kept for as long as needed to complete the service and afterwards as required for accounting, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
6. Security
Access to personal data is limited to staff and partners who need it for a job. Card details are never stored by QuickFix — card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider's secure checkout.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where we are not required to keep the record. Contact support with your booking or tracking reference to make a request.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
When a booking can be cancelled and how refunds are calculated and paid.
1. Cancelling before a partner is assigned
You may cancel free of charge at any time before a partner agency has accepted the job. The full amount paid is refunded.
2. Cancelling after assignment, before pickup
Once a partner has been assigned but the item has not yet been collected, a cancellation fee of 10% of the booking value applies to cover dispatch costs. The balance is refunded.
3. Cancelling after pickup
Once the item has been collected the booking is not refundable. The shipment can be returned to the sender at the applicable delivery rate.
4. When no partner is available
If no partner accepts a job, the booking is escalated to QuickFix Operations rather than cancelled. If QuickFix cannot fulfil it at all, the booking is closed and refunded in full.
5. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, or to your QuickFix Wallet where you choose that option. Bank refunds are typically completed within 3–7 business days depending on your bank. Wallet refunds are usually immediate.
6. Tracking your refund
Refund status is shown on your tracking page at every stage: pending, processing and refunded, with the payment reference.
7. Multi-delivery bookings
Where a booking contains several deliveries, each delivery is cancelled and refunded on its own merits using the stages above; deliveries already collected remain payable.
3. Shipping & Delivery Policy
How pickups, transit, delivery attempts and prohibited items are handled.
1. Packaging
Items must be packed securely and appropriately for road transit. Fragile goods must be declared at booking and cushioned. QuickFix may refuse a poorly packed item at pickup.
2. Pickup
Someone must be available at the pickup address at the scheduled time with the item ready. Waiting time beyond the free allowance shown at booking may attract a charge.
3. Prohibited items
Firearms, ammunition, explosives and fireworks; illegal drugs, narcotics and unlicensed pharmaceuticals; cash, bullion, unset precious stones and bearer instruments; live animals, human remains and body parts; flammable, corrosive, toxic or radioactive materials; counterfeit goods, stolen property, and anything else prohibited by Nigerian law. Shipments found to contain prohibited items are stopped immediately, reported to the authorities where required, and are not refundable.
4. Delivery attempts
The rider or driver will contact the receiver on arrival. If the receiver cannot be reached or is unavailable, the shipment is held and a further attempt arranged; repeated failed attempts may attract a re-delivery or return charge.
5. Proof of delivery
Delivery is closed with proof of delivery: the receiver's name, a signature, and where taken a photograph and a note. This record is available on the tracking page.
6. Delays
Where a shipment is delayed, the tracking page and your notifications are updated. Delays caused by events outside our control do not by themselves create a right to a refund.
7. Tracking references
Every booking receives a general booking reference (BK-…). Each individual delivery within a booking also receives its own tracking ID (QF-…) so each shipment can be followed separately.
